AAUW has been empowering women since 1881. The primary mission of AAUW is to "advance equity for women and girls through research, education, philanthropy and advocacy." This student chapter of AAUW focuses on raising awareness about and advocating for significant economic, political, and social causes that affect the lives of women and girls. The primary goal of this organization is to inspire young people to make an impact on campus and in the community through developing leaderships skills and planning events and activities.

The Campus Advisory & Activities Board (CAAB) is a student-run organization that provides a well-rounded college experience by promoting student involvement, school spirit, and campus traditions; which foster a sense of belonging, affinity to the institution and overall supports student success and retention. Cru is an interdenominational non-profit Christian parachurch organization. Cru has expanded its focus to include adult professionals, athletes, and high school students, along with colleges across the country. Athletes in Action is also a part of CRU ministries.

The Dragon Committee is an RPG gaming club open to all GC students. We were created to foster creativity, encourage communication and community, all while providing fun and memorable experiences.

About GC Robotics Club Team
Students with an interest in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) and STEM-related activities are encouraged to consider joining Garrett College’s Robotics Team. Like GC’s Project Kraken, the current Robotics Team is planning competitions against both two- and four-year colleges and universities.
The GC STEM Department is sponsoring the team with co-advisors Paul Rached (ENR), AJ Savoupolus (IT), and Phil Malone as team mentor and consultant.
